Acquittal on all counts in jury trial for narcotics trafficking, defendant charged with Felony-A weight of ecstasy.

June, 2008

In United States v. Lorenzo, the Law Office of Ramón W. Pagán was successful in overturning the conviction of a woman who was wrongfully convicted of importing narcotics. She was facing deportation and five years in prison, but is now free and with her family after the federal appellate court reversed the conviction.

July, 2008

In United States v. Rubin, the Law Office of Ramón W. Pagán was successful in challenging the restitution sought by the government in a securities fraud case. The restitution sought was originally over $5 million, and our firm brought the matter to a restitution hearing, and was able to reduce the award to less than $1.5 million.

May, 2008

In Diaz v. Ford, the Law Office of Ramón W. Pagán was successful in prosecuting a personal injury matter against a dealership that failed to properly repair a vehicle, resulting in a plaintiff's verdict on liability.
